I am inviting you on a 10 day exploration of your own desires. Why? Because for many of us they have become lost. We are so busy we don't know what want. Or we make ourselves wrong for wanting. Our desires have a lot to teach us about what we need and where we want to go in our lives.

What we'll be exploring:

Developing a Deeper Understanding of Desire:  How desire manifests in the body and mind.

Tuning in to the Senses: through awakening sensory awareness, including touch, taste, smell, movement, and imagination.

Integrating Pleasure: Learning how to bring moments of pleasure and connection into everyday life, enhancing intimacy with yourself and others.

This course invites you to explore your connection to your own desires through meditations, sensory exploration, and through contemplation.

Hi, my name is Nicola Foster. I'm a relationship therapist in my day job, but I'm also a teacher of meditation inspired by the instinctive meditation style of meditation. And this course is all about awakening and exploring desire. Because I meet a lot of people who feel like they've lost touch with desire. They don't really know how to desire things, want or be wanted. Desire has become a bit of a sort of scary word. So I'm inviting you on a 10 day exploration of your desires and of yourself as a sensual living being, your own aliveness. Because for many of us, our desires have been a bit lost in the busyness. We don't know what we want or we make ourselves wrong or shame ourself for wanting. It's become kind of a dirty word to want. And I want to invite you to really enjoy wanting. It doesn't mean you get what you want, but there is great pleasure to be had in the wanting itself. And our desire has a lot to teach us about what we need and where we want to go in our life. And so there's a lot of useful information in desire. So we'll be tuning into our bodies, our senses, our sensory awareness using movement. And we'll be exploring moments of pleasure and how we can integrate these into our daily lives so that we can feel more intimate with ourselves and with anyone we want to share that with. So I hope you'll join me for these 10 days of dropping into what we want, what we desire, what feels good through our senses and through our imagination.
