 Hello, I am Sarah Blondin, and I would like to welcome you to This Deepest Self, ten days of bite-sized wisdom to help you be with your life. Come with me into the heart of your experience. You've sat too long at the edge. You've refused the sun and the water too. There is a world that waits just outside the gate. Come with me. There is no time to waste. Labor not in the name of the dark, but in the name of open fields. In the name of the voice you hear calling your name. Freedom sounds at first like a whisper. I've been studying the landscape of my inner world for decades. I have known no other way than to pull my life into conscious awareness. Each experience that passes through me I have used. What I mean by this is I have held it as if it were holy. I have used my impulses to run and instead root it into the very thing that at first has felt like an enemy. I have found that fear is a friend, that loneliness and anger are sages, that pain precedes healing, that letting go and embracing what is, is the only way to my freedom. This ten-day course is exploring some of my most important nuggets of learned wisdom. Each day is meant to stand alone as its own contemplation and meditation. I will show you how I have learned to use very universal experiences of our humanness to gain mastery of my being. I will teach you how to sit comfortably within yourself no matter the varied textures and sensations that may arise. I have been lost in frozen fields, warmed by the fire found deep inside my belly. I have learned to separate myself from many forms of my suffering and I am here to point you toward warmth. Come with me, dear one, into the heart of your experience.
