Welcome to this guided meditation. A sacred journey inward where we will gently release the busy thoughts, connect with the rhythm of our breath and rediscover the essence of who we truly are. Let us begin by finding a comfortable position, either seated or lying down, allowing your body to rest fully supported by the surface beneath you. Now that you are comfortable, closing your eyes softly and taking a deep nourishing breath in through your nose, holding it gently for a moment at the top and then exhale slowly through your mouth. Feel the weight of your body as it starts to settle. With each breath you are arriving more fully into this moment. The world outside can wait, and this is your time, your space. Bring your awareness to your breath. Notice the soft rise and fall of your chest and belly. There is no need to change or force it. Just observe the natural rhythm of your breathing. Now gently deepen your breath. Inhale for the count of four. One, two, three, four. Hold for the count of four. Three, two, one. Exhale slowly for six, five, four, three, two, one. Continue this rhythm, letting it guide you into a deeper state of calm. Four, three, two, one. Hold for the count of one. Exhaling six, five, four, three, two, one. Just taking a few more breaths here in your own time. As you focus on your breath, notice the subtle spaces between the inhale and the exhale. Each breath you take feels like it's cleansing your mind and body. And with your next inhale, visualize yourself stepping into the forest. The path is soft beneath your feet, lined with moss and dappled with sunlight. As you walk, notice how the trees whisper gently in the breeze, as though they are sharing ancient wisdom just for you. Each step brings you closer to your true self, your purpose. Ahead you see a clearing with a crystal clear pond. The surface of the water is perfectly still, reflecting the sky above.
