When our chakra system is flowing unobstructed we feel deeply connected to our highest selves and to the world around us. This is a powerful guided experience of clearing the chakra system of any stagnant energy or energy that is not our own. This can help us feel deeply grounded and highly intuitive - our natural state of being!

Sacred Practice: Powerful Chakra Cleanse

 Come into a comfortable seat. If you're seated on a chair, uncross your legs and place your feet flat on the ground. If you're seated on a cushion or a pillow, just gently cross your legs or have your legs extended. Bring yourself into a position where the body is quiet and the seat is comfortable. And then bring your attention to that seat. Feel how it feels. Feel the sensation of your sits bones on the chair, on the cushion. Feel the weight of your seat. And then bring your attention to your belly. Lift your belly up a little bit, getting longer in the waist. Lift the center of the chest up, getting longer in the side body. Lift the roof of the mouth up, getting longer in the neck. And the crown of the head lifts you, getting longer in the spine. Feeling the sense that you draw down in your seat and lift up in the crown. Creating a very long and spacious torso. Sending the heads of the arms back and the shoulders down the back. Relax your jaw and the tongue in your mouth. And then bring your attention to the head. And the tongue in your mouth. Soften the cheeks and the area around the brow. Relax your eyes and close your eyes. Begin to observe your breath. And then, you can begin to feel it. Feeling the rise and the fall of the breath in the chest. And this meditation is a cleanse of the chakra system. So we will be using a combination of visualization and focus on sensation and color in areas of the body. Doing your best is all we can do. So if you lose the focus, just come back. Know that you cannot do this wrong. So bring your attention to the base of your spine. Feeling the sensation of your seat. The tailbone, the sits bones. Feeling the solidity and the earthy quality of your seat. Imagine at your seat a glowing red orb of light. Feeling this orb of light pulsing and vibrating. Knowing this light feeds this first chakra and nourishes your body. Feeds this first chakra and nourishes the qualities of security and safety and connection to this earth and this body. Bringing your full attention to this red orb of light. Say to yourself, I cleanse my first chakra of all energy that is not my own. My first chakra vibrates at an angle. This is not my own. My first chakra vibrates at an ideal frequency for me. This is so. Taking a deep breath in and as you inhale, feeling this red orb of light expand and grow and fill. And as you exhale, feeling this orb of light solidify and rest at the base of your spine near the earth. Bringing your attention to the center of your pelvis, the second chakra. Feeling a sense of fluidity and flow and ease in this area. In the center of your pelvis envision a bright orange orb of light. Pulsing and vibrating, feeding the healthy essence of our sexuality, of our creativity, of our relationships with others. Feeling this area of our body pulsating bright orange light. Say to yourself, I cleanse my second chakra of all energy that is not my own. My second chakra vibrates at a frequency that is ideal for me. It is so. Taking a nice deep breath in, feeling this breath inflate to the vibration of this orange orb and feeling your exhale solidify and stabilize this vibration in the second chakra. Now bringing your attention to the area around the belly in the solar plexus, feeling here the fire of a bright yellow orb of light, bright like the sun, hot like the sun. Feeling the fire of the third chakra light up the essence of your personal power, your confidence, your will, your purpose. Say to yourself, I cleanse my third chakra of all energy that is not my own. My third chakra vibrates at a frequency that is ideal for me at this time. It is so. Taking a nice deep breath in, feeling that orb yellow, bright hot sun grow and expand with your inhale and solidify and stabilize with your exhale. Bringing your attention to the center of your chest, your heart, feeling, seeing, sensing a green orb of light in the center of your heart. Breathing into this area, feeling the expansive quality of this chakra, feeding this green energy with the air that you breathe. The essence here is love, trust, forgiveness, surrender. Say to yourself, I cleanse my fourth chakra of all energy that is not my own. My fourth chakra vibrates at a frequency that is ideal for me at this time. It is so. Taking a nice big breath with your inhale inflating this green orb of light in the center of your chest. And exhaling, solidifying and stabilizing this chakra, this light. Bringing your attention to the area of your throat, feeling here a blue orb of light, blue like the summer sky, crisp, bright light blue, infinite, spacious. Here, this orb vibrates with the qualities of our clear, authentic communication. Our capacity to create and communicate what we create clearly, precisely, honestly. From this chakra we speak our truth. Say to yourself, my fifth chakra is cleansed of all energy that is not my own. My fifth chakra vibrates at a frequency that is ideal for me at this time. It is so. Taking a nice deep breath in, expanding this blue orb of light in the throat with your inhale, feeling that fullness. And as you exhale, feeling this light stabilize and solidify. Perfectly, beautifully, powerfully. Rising up to the area of the third eye, the space in between the eyebrows, the sixth chakra. Feeling here, sensing an orb of indigo light. Pulsing and vibrating with your connection to your highest self. The divinity within you, your intuition. You are knowing beyond the world of senses. It is here where your truth is known. Say to yourself, my sixth chakra is cleansed of all energy that is not my own. My sixth chakra vibrates at a frequency that is ideal for me at this time. It is so. Taking a nice big breath in through the nose, expanding and inflating this indigo light at the third eye, feeling that expansive state. Exhale, knowing this light is solidified, stabilized. Perfectly, beautifully. Exactly as it needs to be. And now please bring your attention to the space above the crown of your head. The seventh chakra, where an orb of violet light resides. Illuminating your connection to everything everywhere. Your connection to the oneness of all life. To the field of life itself. All wisdom of all time resides here. There is no cleanse needed for this chakra, for this chakra is of the oneness. This chakra is divinity itself. As you inhale, you feel this orb of light expand. And as you exhale, this violet light of the seventh chakra drops down through the third eye. Through the throat, through the heart, through the core, the navel, through the pelvis. Down into the first chakra. Feeding and lighting and infusing and healing your chakra system as you inhale, rising up, brightening and lighting up the first chakra. The second chakra, the third chakra, the fourth, the fifth, the sixth, and rising once again, the space above the crown. Bright violet orb of light. Say to yourself, my chakra system is cleansed of all energies that are not my own. My chakra system is vibrating at a frequency that is ideal for me at this time. It is so. Inhale, nice deep breath. Hold the breath in for a moment. Exhale completely. Let your breath be natural. Not controlling it. Just let it find its natural rhythm. Just being here in silence for a few minutes, noticing how you feel. And bring your hands to your heart. Thank yourself for the time you've given yourself here. And we'll dedicate this practice to all beings everywhere. Whether big or small, near or far, seen or unseen. May all beings be well. May all beings be happy. May all beings be free from suffering.
