This is a 15-minute meditation to guide you into a place of receptivity for healing. This meditation is specifically guiding you to create a healing space while working with a homeopathic remedy, but really, this meditation could be done with any medicinal substance or simply just an intention to heal. This meditation reminds you of your capacity for healing and invites you to really tune into your vital life force (qi, prana, etc.). There is a bell to signify the end of the meditation, with a few extra minutes of music after that should you wish to linger in this space of healing intention.

Healing With Natural Medicine

This is a meditation to support you in your healing. This is specifically in regards to taking a homeopathic remedy, but this meditation really could be done with any medicinal substance that you are using to help support your health and well-being. I encourage you to grab your homeopathic remedy either to have it nearby or perhaps to hold it for the duration of this meditation. Know that you, of course, can pause the meditation if you need and settle in when you're ready. I invite you to find a comfortable position. A truly comfortable position. Not needing to fit yourself into any sort of idealized meditative posture, but to really find comfort. Trusting that healing doesn't happen when we force it, but instead using this meditation as an opportunity to really tune in to what healing means, what it feels like, how it happens for you. So as you find this comfortable position, allowing your eyes to close, really turn your awareness within and start to just curiously, without any sort of judgment, scan your awareness through your physical body. Perhaps you arrive here in this space longing to heal something physical or perhaps you arrive here today struggling with something in the realm of the mind or the heart. Recognizing that we are a very dynamic being and that it doesn't just ever exist in one layer of our being or our existence. The physical impacts the mental, the emotional, the spiritual. The mental impacts the emotional, spiritual, the physical. And it goes round and round through all these layers of our lived experience. So resting in the state of awareness of where it is that you need healing. With your awareness just wandering through your physical body, where in your body do you feel the need for healing? Where in your physical body do your emotions exist? Where in the body do the happenings of the mind or the aspects of the personality land exist in? Can you fine-tune your awareness a little bit more to the space between the eyebrows, your third eye space, this inward space of deep knowing. Holding your awareness at this point of focus, using the periphery of your awareness to become aware of and connect with the periphery of your experience. In this way opening yourself up to the subtleties of your body and your being, your mind, your heart, your spirit. I invite you to start tuning into your vital life force. In yogic traditions this is known as our prana. In traditional Chinese medicine it's known as our qi. In homeopathy we label this the vital life force. This is experienced in the movement of our breath, a buzz or vibration that you feel in your body. It is this invisible animating force of our body and our being. It is what allows the thoughts to move through the mind. It allows ourselves to metabolize, our body to physiologically heal. Our vital life force is what we always see in motion but we are unable to put our finger on where it actually is, what it actually is, how it exists, how it works. It is our vital life force which is our capacity to heal. I invite you to sit with that for a moment, to tune in and really connect with your vital life force, your life energy, your true ability to heal. Calling to mind a time in the past that you healed. Maybe there's a wound on your hand and every day you had this reminder of your ability to heal. Perhaps you blink open and you look at that part of your hand. You look at that part of your hand and you remember your ability to heal. Perhaps you recall a time in the past, a difficult time, perhaps a time of great depression or anxiety. And contrasting that to where you are now. Whatever past experience or whatever imagery you can draw to mind to remind you of your ability to heal. Do you have any sort of trust with your body, with your mind, with your heart? Any trust in this human form to support you in this human experience? Can you welcome in, can you cultivate a sense of trust that healing is available to you? Healing is possible. That you have this innate wisdom and healing capability. Now I invite you to draw to mind your remedy or perhaps take that remedy in your hand. And can you tune in to the frequency, the vibration of this substance. Homeopathy is energy medicine. The frequency of your remedy has been chosen because it resonates with the frequency of your being, of your symptoms, of your suffering. Can you sit with and really start to feel this attunement of you and this remedy. Of your suffering and the healing that this remedy will initiate or stimulate. Can you open the lines of communication, your vital life force receptive to this communication, the cues from the remedy? Can you cultivate this relationship of trust with your remedy, of trust with your body? Can you cultivate a sense of friendship with this remedy, a sense of friendship with your body? Perhaps when you feel ready you could take this remedy. Perhaps placing that pellet underneath your tongue to dissolve or taking that sip of water or those few drops placed in your mouth. However you have been instructed to take this remedy. As you do so intentionally, lovingly, trustingly, welcoming the process of healing. Welcoming the process of healing. Really welcoming this process of healing from this place of trust that it is possible. Can you feel where in your body that remedy lands? Notice any physical sensations. Notice any uprising of emotion. Notice what happens in your mind. Notice what happens intuitively. Resting in this space of receptivity, of absorption and integration of this medicine. Resting here in this space of healing as long as you need. When you feel ready to close off this meditation, really taking the time to sit with gratitude for showing up for yourself, for supporting yourself, for opening these doors of healing. But this hard work of sitting with yourself and tending to yourself will pay off. Trust in this.
