Inner Witch Releasing Ritual Meditation

 Hello and welcome to this beautiful releasing meditation. Thank you for being here today and thank you for making time to honour yourself. We'll start by finding a comfortable position, close your eyes and take a few conscious breaths to bring you into a state of calm and presence while I open the meditation with a protection prayer. I call upon the universe, the angels, archangels, our spirit guides and loved ones to please shower us with your pure love so that we may feel safe. Please surround us with your pure light so we may be protected. And please guide us with your pure wisdom so that we may act in a way that serves our highest self. Thank you. I invite you now to imagine you are sitting at a beautiful antique table and you see a selection of herb bottles in front of you. As you look around you see bunches of herbs hanging from a drying rack, a cabinet with glass bottles full of every dried herb you could imagine. There are shelves full of various crystals, candles burning everywhere, beautiful carved chests, brass goblets and empty jars. You realise you are inside an apothecary. This place instantly connects you to your inner witch, your inner healer and you know that you are here to perform a sacred ritual for yourself. You see a large aged book laying open on the table next to a magnificent cauldron. The page on the book is titled Releasing Ritual with a list of instructions for you to prepare for the spell. The first step is to make a list of things that you wish to release. What situations, limiting beliefs, habits, emotions, past events, people or even places are you ready to let go of? Sit with yourself for a moment, placing one hand over your heart and one hand on your stomach and just breathe into the emotions that surface. What is holding you back? What no longer serves you? Acknowledge these emotions and these feelings without any judgement and see yourself writing them down on a piece of paper. With your list, you step closer to the cauldron and see that it is alight with flames. You find yourself picking up the first herb bottle and see that the label says White Sage for cleansing and protection and you place some of the leaves into the fire. Instantly you feel lighter, safer and ready to proceed. The next bottle reads Bay Leaves for wisdom and you place some in the fire, hearing the crackle of the leaves as they take alight and you have a sudden understanding of what you need to do to move forward. The next bottle is labelled Cinnamon for strength and as you place the quill into the flames and the aroma hits you you feel your back straighten and the feeling of pure confidence washes over you. The next bottle reads Rosemary for banishing and as you place it in the cauldron you feel a weight lift off your shoulders. The emotional burdens that you have been carrying for too long are leaving and you know the time is right for this ritual. You are ready. The last bottle is labelled Lavender for healing and as the beautiful smell of the lavender reaches your senses and it burns in the fire you feel whole and truly connected with your authentic self. You feel a deep sense of calm settle in your soul as you forgive yourself for holding onto those things for so long. You did the best you could to survive but you know it's time to move forward. Forward into a new version of yourself, one that is no longer controlled by the limiting emotions of the past. This is your time. The fire crackles and the smells envelop you as you pick up your list and say to yourself. I release these blockages of my past. I embrace my higher self at long last. If you feel my path with joy and love please send your blessings from above. As you place your list in the fire feel yourself letting go as it turns to ash and smoke. You take a moment to feel the release as you smell the herbs burning in the cauldron. With a renewed sense of self you are ready to walk your true path, head held high knowing that you have the power to remove any blockages that come your way. You are strong and powerful. You have the ability to create the future that you want. Embrace your inner witch and step up to the cauldron anytime you need to release that which no longer serves you. Blessed be my friend.
