Morning Empowerment For Sensitive Souls

 Good morning. You are here. In this room. In this breath. In this body. In this life. You are connected to a consciousness that runs through all beings. But your human experience is individual, subjective and shaped by all the conditions you have been given. What has made you sensitive to this world has made you one of life's rare and tender hearts. Today you will hold on to that power that is so easily dampened by today's indifference. So take a few breaths now to arrive within your body and use your gifted senses to guide you towards your knowing heart. Feel its beat within you. Its warmth. Its comfort. Its ability to communicate so fiercely within you. Although you feel at times the lead weight of the world upon your heart, you will now ground, protect and empower your receptivity so that you are able to face the day ahead grounded, guided and in strength. Today I will plant my feet upon the ground, connecting to the same current that runs to within my body. I am grounded. Today I will not let others stifle my vulnerability. I accept who I am and I embody the most authentic version of myself. Today I will not fall victim to the energy of my environment. I am unconditionally centered and at home within myself. Today I will cut all that does not serve or support me. I am the creator of my life. Today I will weave in time for myself to simply be with my emotional state. I am empowered. Today I will be kind no matter what is given in return. Today I embrace the feminine energy within me, the allowing, nurturing and caring side of me that helps me align with the truth of my deepest needs. Today I acknowledge my pain, my sufferings, my hardships and I choose to use them through my creativity. I am able to mend, knead, write, carve, raise, dig, sing and dance my way through my darkness. Today I will pause, slow down and rest when I know I must. I am able to show up for myself. Today I will be porous to self-love. Every word said in kindness to myself will pool deeply into my being until no drop of poison can have an effect. Today I will let that negative act or comment slip through me without touching the sides, without letting it get caught inside me. I will walk through my day in lightness. Today I will see the pain in others without closing my eyes. I am able to help. Today I choose to smile in recognition of all other souls like me living in a culture, a country, a relationship, a family, a job that does not recognize me. I am seen by the goodness in this world. Today I will reach out even when there is an expectation not to, even when I am told not to, even when I doubt the act will be appreciated, I will not let my softness be hardened by the world. Today I turn the music up. I lose my body to movement. I will find myself again in a moment of freedom. Today I choose to rise above the ashes of yesterday, the experiences that burned, the people who left me bare, the distractions that left me disconnected, the injustices that made me but an exposed nerve walking on ice. Today I am the phoenix, stronger for the inkindling, unable to be cremated, I start today anew. May you journey onwards knowing your light is seen by all of us who share your challenges here. We are stronger together and you are never alone.
