Morning Meditation: Power Of Intention

Take a moment to settle in, close your eyes and take a deep breath, inhaling through the nose, filling your lungs completely, feel the air energizing every cell as it flows in, as you exhale releasing any tension or fatigue, breathing in peace and tranquility, breathing out and releasing anything you need to let go of, breathing in positivity, breathing out any remaining tension in the body, breathing in the present moment and breathing out the future and the past, as you continue to breathe deeply and slowly at your own pace, imagine a warm golden light entering the very top of your head, filling your entire body, this light is pure energy, revitalizing you from head to toe, imagine it flowing down from the top of your head, gently washing over your forehead, easing around your eyes, softening your mouth and relaxing your tongue, feel it warming the back of your head, soothing your throat and melting into your shoulders, releasing any tension, the light expands through the lungs, filling your chest with ease, flowing down the back, dissolving any tightness, it moves through your stomach, your lower back and pelvis, bringing a deep sense of and balance, from there the light travels down your hips, through your thighs, the knees and calves, loosening and renewing every muscle as it moves, it glides into your ankles, your feet and finally your toes, until your entire body is glowing, bathed in radiant energy, feeling whole, renewed and at peace, with every breath the light within shines brighter, becoming lighter in color, the golden light beginning to turn white, starting in your chest and moving outwards, reaching every muscle, every organ, every cell, filling you with vitality and strength, as you reach this state of being full of healing white light, envision this radiant energy expanding beyond your body, as you breathe deeply, the light expands into the room around you, picture it flowing outwards, extending into the immediate world around you, and then expanding infinitely into the universe, feel this light connecting you with all of life, merging with the universal energy, allow yourself to become one with this vast loving energy, extending love and light to the universe, feel the connection, the unity and boundless energy flowing through you and beyond, know that you are part of this infinite source, always connected, always energized, in this space be reminded that you are love, you are kindness, creativity, beauty, expansiveness, abundance and receptivity, you are connected to source, and to all of life, repeat the following affirmations with me in your mind, and just listen to my voice, I am creative, creativity flows through me effortlessly, kindness is my natural state, and I share it freely, I give and receive love with an open heart, I am loving, I am beautiful inside and out, I see beauty everywhere and radiate it from within, I am expansive, I am always evolving, I am always growing and healing, I am connected to the universe around me, I am in harmony with the infinite source of abundance, I give and receive freely, all I need flows to me with ease, I am receptive, my heart and mind are open to the good coming my way, I am connected to divine source, receiving all the energy, encouragement and support I need to thrive, I trust that all I desire, that is good for me, will come into my life in divine timing, I am whole, take a deep breath and begin to return to your body, notice the support of the surface beneath you, feel the air as it enters your nose, the gentle rise and fall of your abdomen with each breath, bringing your awareness to the centre of your chest, feeling the warmth and light that still resides within you, know that this energy is always here, always accessible, commit to memory this feeling so you can return to it whenever you need, place your hand over your heart and take a moment to feel gratitude for the life force within you, extend that gratitude toward yourself for showing up for this practice, for giving yourself the space to slow down, receive, expand and simply be present, carry this gratitude and extend it outwards as you move forward into your day, and now I will count from 10 to 1, and with each number, you will feel more awake, alert and energised, ready to step into your day with clarity, enthusiasm and joy, 10, feeling a gentle awakening like the first rays of morning sunlight touching your skin, 9, a deep sense of renewal washes over you, filling your body with lightness and ease, 8, awareness returns to your surroundings, the energy within you beginning to rise, 7, a wave of vitality moves through you, bringing warmth and movement to your muscles, 6, your breath feels fuller, richer, awakening your senses and sharpening your focus, 5, energy surges through you, activating every cell, every fibre of your being, 4, a feeling of excitement stirs in your heart, an eagerness for all the possibilities that lie before you today, 3, joy and gratitude radiate from within, lifting your spirit, expanding your presence, 2, you are fully awake, fully alive, your mind clear, your body strong, your heart open, 1, ready to step into the day with confidence, purpose and vibrant energy, 2, take one last deep breath, wiggle your fingers and toes, feeling fully present in your body, and when you are ready, open your eyes, carrying this sense of gratitude, connection and vibrant energy with you throughout your day.
