Are you or someone you know living in the letting go of life? This meditation is created to be a comforting presence for accessing a peaceful acceptance of releasing, forgiveness and receiving the light of love.

This recording is inspired by my work with clients and loved ones facing the dying process when I was a Hospice Social Worker and in my own life experiences around loss, death and dying.

Peaceful Transition: A Meditation For Death And Dying

Hi, I'm Glenda Cedarleaf and this meditation is about letting go, surrendering fully to our infinite awareness. It was written from my experience working with hospice and an intention to provide a spacious and compassionate presence for this process of transitioning. It is a visceral journey of releasing resistance and connecting with reassurance and peace. May this meditation bless you, whether you are in the process of transitioning yourself or you are a loved one who is by the side of someone preparing to take this journey. So please take this time to settle into this sacred process, becoming as comfortable as possible, letting go of distraction as you simply allow these words to guide you into a peaceful place. I invite you now to bring your awareness to this moment in time as you continue this journey of allowing your spirit to fully release all that no longer serves you, allowing your emotional and physical body to release pain and constriction, regrets or resentments. As your spiritual body continues to move through this time of transition, settling now into the unconditional deep love that is always present, present to enfold your spirit with protection and safety and light as you take this next part of your journey, becoming aware of your breathing, inhaling love and peace, exhaling all that no longer serves you, letting go of the heaviness of the body. You are being guided into the stillness, into the peaceful stillness, into the calm of unconditional love, taking in that breath of life and breathing in to any area of discomfort and imagining now that as you breathe, you are connected with the heartbeat of life that continues. It continues on eternally and this connection is here to remind you of your eternal connection with the hearts of your loved ones, always connected. And this heartbeat remains in your soul. You are always alive in the hearts of your loved ones and alive in your essence, allowing your mind and body to begin to let go and allowing that power of unconditional love to permeate every cell, every organ, every inch of your body, pure love, total love. Imagining now that you are stepping down a beautiful path and you can see off in the distance, the sky is filled with the shades and colors that you love the most. Perhaps it's a sunrise or a sunset, a clear blue sky or one filled with puffy clouds. As you look off in the distance, visualizing a place where you can sit or lie down, a place where you can feel safety and comfort. Here in this beautiful place, you can see and smell and hear all your favorite things, taking a moment to settle into the colors and the shapes, the delicious soothing scents, the sounds of nature or music or voices of loved ones. Just seeing and hearing, smelling, sensing, listening now and taking a moment to be fully here in this place. Imagining now someone who has gone before you, now stepping towards you and you can see their eyes, feel their loving presence as they offer you a hand of guidance and comfort, reassuring you now and giving you a gift. This gift helps you to continue on your path of letting go. This loved one now holds your hand and places their other hand on the crown of your head, connecting you with light and love, light and love streaming down on the top of your head and flowing into your body, filling every cell, every organ, every inch of your body. This light, beautiful and brilliant, warm and all-encompassing, knowing that you are carried through this time, aware of the circle of life, of the ending of one story and the beginning of another, the movement of the seasons. Imagining now looking up to the heavens, aware of the infinite beauty above you, focusing on this eternal, infinite, open, vast beauty of the heavens, letting go into this beauty. You are becoming filled with light. Your spirit is becoming lighter and lighter, clearer, becoming clearer now. Your body lighter. Your body is filled with light. Your spirit is carrying you and your body is releasing and letting go. All that no longer serves you is falling away. Surrendering, letting go, receiving and opening, resting now in the arms of divine love, deeper and deeper at peace. And you are safe, totally, completely safe, never alone, loved and guided. You are at peace, letting go now. Into the arms of love and light, letting go and surrounded in love.
