REIKI, (pronounced Ray Key) is a stress reduction and relaxation technique in which the practitioner channels Universal energy through the body to assist in removing emotional blockages, stress, and anxiety. In this Reiki infused meditation, healing energy will be guided throughout your body renewing mind, body, and spirit.

Reiki Healing Meditation

 Welcome to this healing meditation. My name is Kristin and I will be your guide for this Reiki-infused journey within. During the meditation, I will silently draw the Reiki symbols required to foster deeper healing and allow a sense of inner calm to arise. All that is required of you is to rest comfortably, allowing healing universal energy to wash over you and through you, leaving you feeling rested, calm, and renewed. Let us begin. Find a comfortable position, either sitting up or lying down. Remember to keep your back straight and hands gently resting at your sides or in your lap. For a more opening practice, allow your palms to face upward, open to the universe. If you prefer a more grounding practice, allow your palms to open downward towards the earth. Now gently float your eyes closed. Allow your awareness to gently rest on your breath. Become aware of the inflow and outflow, the gentle rise and fall of your abdomen, the sensation of air as it flows in and out of your nose. Allow the rhythm of your breath to relax you. This is your body's natural rhythm. Allow it to foster a sense of ease in mind, body, and spirit. Now gently take a long, slow, deep breath in, feeling your belly rise, holding briefly at the top, and then exhale through your mouth with a sigh, allowing any tension or tightness you may feel to flow out into the universe. Let's do that again. Take a long, slow, deep breath in, allowing your belly to fully rise, holding briefly at the top, and exhale with a sigh, allowing all of the stale air that has accumulated at the base of your lungs to fully leave your body. One more time, slow, deep breath in, filling every space of your lungs, refreshing your body with beautiful life-giving oxygen. Your blood vessels take in that sweet air through every part of your body. Release that breath with a sigh, knowing with each breath the whole body is refreshed and renewed with life-giving oxygen. Now allow your breath to return to its natural rhythm. Visualize a gentle stream of healing energy flowing towards you from the depths of the universe. This energy is whatever color comes to your mind first. This color holds the vibration of healing your body, mind, and spirit require in this moment. This beautiful sparkling energy is guided directly to the crown of your head, intuitively knowing it is meant only for you to heal your unique energetic blueprint. As this beautiful energy streams in through the crown of your head, you may feel a tingling sensation, a lightness, or even a bubbling or fizzy sensation. This healing wave of energy permeates the top of your head and begins to float down over your forehead, renewing you at the cellular level. This energy flows down over your eyes, your temples, relaxing as it flows down your cheeks, your jaw, surrounding your head, and washing away any tension you're holding onto. This energy moves into your neck, your shoulders, your chest, gently gliding over and through your body, shifting and healing any constriction you may be sensing. Feel release in your upper back, your mid-back. Feel your belly soften as this beautiful energy swirls into your solar plexus, removing any doubts or hesitancy, allowing you to fully own your truth. This universal reiki energy continues to flow down your body, washing over you and through you. Universal love permeates your cells as this energy washes away pain and constriction. This energy flows lightly into your low back, your hips, your pelvis. It brings ease and flow into your thighs, gently caressing your knees. This healing wave continues to move down through your calves and shins, releasing any tightness into your ankles, your feet, the soles of your feet and your toes. You give thanks for the support your body provides you every day as this energy now flows out through the bottom of your feet, back down into Mother Earth, taking with it any pain, tension or dis-ease you may have been feeling. Rest here for a moment, allowing the healing waves of energy to continue to wash down through your body from the crown of your head to the soles of your feet, feeling beautiful reiki energy, renew you, body, mind and spirit. As this wave of healing energy begins to dissipate, your awareness gently shifts back to your breath. Notice the delicate nature of your relaxed breath. Allow your breath to deepen. Gentle awareness returns to your body as you begin to bring small movements to your fingers and toes. When you are ready, you may open your eyes.
