Settle in for a deeply nourishing yoga nidra practice, while receiving Reiki energy healing. This includes a gentle guided body scan for profound relaxation, and is the perfect way to unwind and restore a sense of calm in the nervous system.

Reiki Waves Yoga Nidra

 Welcome friend. I created this practice as a combination of traditional yoga nidra and Reiki energy healing, allowing you to relax in the waves of calm and ease. By listening to this recording you are receiving this beautiful healing energy, which is designed to support you mind, body, and spirit. I invite you to find a comfortable place to lie down, either on your bed, a couch, or the floor. Wherever you can feel supported. I invite you to make a cozy nest, getting as many pillows or blankets or bolsters as you need, and making sure that you're warm. Once you are comfortable, let's set an intention or sankalpa. Think about how you wish to feel after this practice. Stating that in the present tense, and setting the intention to be open to receiving this healing, and be held within this safe and sacred space. We'll begin with a few grounding breaths, releasing the day thus far. Take two inhales through the nose, and a long, slow exhale through the mouth. We'll do that again. Two inhales through the nose, and a long exhale through the mouth. One more time. Slowly let your breath return to normal, feeling the waves of cooler air coming in, the waves of warmer air coming out. Really settling in, feeling the weight and the solidness of your body. Sinking into the support beneath you. As you gently rotate attention through the body, visualize each area receiving warm, healing light. Open each area to receive this reiki energy, as a wave moving through. Landing your attention now on the point between your eyebrows, tip of the tongue, tip of the nose, lips, inside of the mouth, jaw, base of the throat, right collarbone, right shoulder, right elbow, right wrist, tip of the right thumb, right index finger, middle finger, ring finger, pinky finger, left wrist, left elbow, right shoulder, right collarbone, base of the throat, left collarbone, left shoulder, left elbow, left wrist, tip of the left thumb, left index finger, middle finger, ring finger, pinky finger, collarbone, base of the throat, heart center, right chest, left chest, heart center, solar plexus, navel, pelvic bowl, right hip, right knee, right ankle, right big toe, second toe, right ankle, right knee, right hip, pelvic bowl, left hip, left knee, left ankle, left big toe, second toe, third toe, fourth toe, left pinky toe, left ankle, left knee, left hip, pelvic plexus, heart center, base of the throat, jaw, inside of the mouth, lips, tip of the nose, the point between the eyebrows, crown of the head, gently bring attention back to your breath, feeling the movement of air in your nose. Take a few deeper breaths, sensing your entire body, supported by the surface underneath you, so that you can breathe and feel the air and the surface underneath you. Slowly begin to awaken, wiggling fingers and toes, stretching your body, and taking a moment to tune in and notice how you feel, after taking this time for yourself to relax and receive.
