This meditation starts by taking inventory of the body's sensations and checking in with the emotions- progressing into a gentle conversation about shame. Together we will observe and clear the auric field through focused breath and visualization.

Release Shame

 Welcome my friends. Today I'd like you to have a seat wherever is comfortable or lie down. Get yourself in the best possible position for you, getting any fidgeting, any adjusting out of the way so you can totally be at ease and we're going to walk through something that will cleanse you of shame and fear, grief and guilt. So wherever you are just start to notice your breath, breathing in and out as you normally would, just gathering awareness about your breath, your body and the space around you. What does it feel like where you are? Is the air cool on your skin? Is it warm? Do you feel and hear your own heartbeat slowing with you as you arrive here? What sensations can you note of? Is there any emotions that you're carrying and if so what are they and where do you feel them? A very common emotion or experience to pick up in this world is shame. I see shame as one of the most unnecessary experiences but also necessary in its teaching, how it teaches us and shows us the duality. It feels like the opposite of joy and elation, does it not? So what happens when we take on shame, when we're out in the world and someone says something or does something that incites shame within us? What is it? How do we release it? How do we come back to ourselves? Continue to breathe and explore your body, slowly starting to exhale a little bit longer and slower, focusing on those pauses between inhale and exhale, breathing in and out, feeling yourself, feeling your spine and getting curious about any challenging experiences or emotions you might be carrying with you here. As you breathe, imagine your aura around you, see all of its light, its power and its ability and how we are not a soul in a body but a body in a soul and imagine the auric field with emotions we haven't been able to fully observe, release, process and experience. What would shame look like in the auric field? Is it dense? Is it darkly colored? Is it gritty? What textures would have and what other things can you associate with it? Lean in, breathing and identifying any debris or colors or visitors in your auric field that maybe don't need to be there anymore as we use our inhale to root down and exhale to expand up, cutting each chord or shape or texture out of the field, unbinding ourselves from everything. One by one, breathing, exhaling, expanding, snipping, cutting, releasing. Feel the ties being loosened as the pressure releases and the energy kind of snaps back into your body. Let it give you energy to sit up straighter and to breathe deeper. Invite it all in as you continue to move around, cutting chords and moving away from the shame, the fear and everything you've been told you need to carry but maybe you don't. Release it all here and now as you keep breathing. Make your way all around the aura until the job is done. My voice, the energy around you and the same creation that created you are all here to support you in this. Blowing away any debris as it falls away from you so you can just be surrounded by light. See yourself now in this bright white light cleansing away all that was never you and what you do not need to carry. Come back to yourself, your light. The job is done and so it is. Remember it is not your job to carry things that do not feel like you and inside and beneath all of these things is your light, your heart, your bright bright soul that extends beyond your body and all of its experiences.
