Release anxiety and overthinking by grounding yourself in the present and trusting the universe's grace.

In this brief guided meditation, I will take you through my process of overcoming anxiety and overthinking. We all experiencing stress, anxiety, overthinking, worry, fear, depression, but through the practice of meditation, we develop tools to cope with these natural emotions and reduce their control over how we choose to live our lives. 

My Technique To Overcome Anxiety & Overthinking 

 Last week I had so much anxiety over something and it kept replaying in my head and I started making up all these possible scenarios of how this struggle, this challenge that I was going through was going to unfold. And I created this scenario and I created that scenario and I projected what this person would say and what I would say and then what the outcome of that conversation would be and then I envisioned that that conversation was then shared with someone else and then that was another fear or concern. And as I built this interesting house of cards which was all a fabrication, all a dream, and as I projected my interpretation on top of another interpretation I realized at a certain point that I had gotten myself so wound up about something that had not yet even occurred. But by leaping into the future I was totally in all the pain that I projected into the future. And then I asked myself as I stood at the beach watching the waves just pound in and I watched the birds flying and I watched Peaches the Buddha princess just frolicking along and I felt the warmth of the Sun on my face. And in that moment I trusted everything. In that moment I trusted the grace of the universe to deliver me and to deliver the entire scenario to exactly where it needs to be. And then of course I get another opportunity to embrace it, to awaken to it, and trust again. And in that moment of pure trust as it beamed into me I felt all my anxiety slip away and I felt all my confusion slip away and all my fear just slip into the distance. And so why not try that today? Why not try to trust? Trust in the universe and trust in yourself.
