Pause, breathe, and ask yourself what ordinary wonders you might be missing in this very moment.

English

In the middle of a busy day, it's easy to miss what's already here. This brief practice invites you to pause, breathe, and notice what might be quietly asking for your attention. You don't need to search for anything profound-just become present and ask, “What am I almost missing right now?” A simple invitation to notice, receive, and gently return to your day.

What Am I Almost Missing?

Take a moment. Just pause. And now take a comfortable breath in. And let that go. You don't need to change anything about how you're feeling. You don't need to become peaceful. You don't need to find something to be grateful for. Just God's. And now I invite you to bring your attention to what's happening right now. Notice your breath. the feeling of your feet on the ground. the temperature of the air. the sounds around you. And now gently ask yourself, What am I almost missing right now? You don't have to search for something profound. It might be something very ordinary. Maybe a patch of sunlight. a sound you hadn't noticed. the feeling of your breath. the warmth of your hands. someone nearby. Or maybe it's just the quiet. or simply this moment. And whatever you notice, just stay with it for a little longer. Let yourself really experience it. and maybe just allow yourself to say. Thank you. Not because everything is perfect. not because you have to feel grateful, just... Thank you for this moment. I invite you to take one more breath. Feel your feet. Feel the world around you. and remember before you move on with your day. This is here. Aye. am here. And for this moment, that is enough. You are here. And this moment is here. One final deep breath in. Gentle sigh out. And when you're ready, gently return to your day. Thank you for joining me for this brief practice. I love you. because I can.
