Visualize a soothing ocean to release your worries and connect with your inner resilience during difficult family changes.

English

When parents separate, teenagers often carry far more than anyone realises: the worry, the divided loyalties, the sadness of a changed family, and the uncertainty of what comes next. This quiet, carefully held practice was created for exactly that experience.
In 10 minutes, you are guided through gentle breathing, a body scan to release held tension, and a calming visualisation to help settle the mind and reconnect you with your own inner steadiness. This is not about fixing what has happened. It is simply a space to rest, breathe, and remember that you are going to be okay.
No prior meditation experience is needed. All that is required is a comfortable place to lie down and a few minutes to yourself.
This practice is ideal for:
- Teenagers whose parents are separating or have separated
- Young people experiencing anxiety, worry, or emotional overwhelm around family change
- Parents, school counsellors, and therapists looking for a gentle, accessible tool to share
